The Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority (KCKHA) is a local Public Housing Agency (PHA)  that administers housing assistance programs for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the City of Kansas City and Wyandotte County, Kansas.

This center provides professional immigration legal services to low-income, foreign-born individuals and their families for little to no cost. It is staffed by a bilingual (Spanish/English), experienced immigration attorney and a bilingual Board of Immigration (BIA) Accredited Representative, who offer vital legal assistance on non-business immigration matters.

Lion House KC is a LGBTQ-specific transitional and rapid re-housing program. They seek to address the core problems causing LGBTQ homelessness in the community.

The McKinney-Vento Program has proudly served KCKPS students and their families by connecting them to community resources and agencies providing food, clothing, employment, emergency services, housing and utility assistance.

MHAH provides hope and critical resources through our Heartland Housing Initiative, the Compassionate Ear Warmline and Advocacy and Recovery services, and Mental Health Education and Awareness programs.

Food pantry for Wyandotte County residents only Monday-Friday at 8:30am-3:00pm. Serves the first 30 people and most show proof of need of eligibility if first time guest. Can only attend once a month.

Mother's Refuge is a maternity home for young pregnant moms, 12-21 years old. Moms are provided with wrap-around support, case management, therapy, and education. Also offers a transitional living program for 18+ moms and their children.
 

MCRC is uniquely designed to provide holistic services to the community.  Services include a food pantry, single family homeownership program, a transitional housing program, strengths-based case management, crisis intervention, budget counseling, information and referrals, motivation and education, client advocacy, and senior citizen outreach.  MCRC also engages in partnership with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County, Kansas City, Kansas to manage the Wilhelmina Gill Multi-Service Center.  They have a food pantry open on Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
