This book is so good that I just have to start with that!   Phoebe Stone is really in a bad place - divorced and depressed when her cat dies.

"Each of us is more than the worst thing we've ever done." (p.108)  Powerful words to perfectly describe this thought-provoking read.  Angie and David are happily married in their hometown.  Raising two kids, working, living.

Rusty Sabich is back in a tense courtroom showdown.   He's older, wiser, and in love.  Quietly enjoying life away from the spotlight, Rusty is soon drawn into the quagmire of a trial - this time in the role of defense lawyer.

Ville Valo (VV), most well-known as the frontman of HIM, released this album in January 2023. I fell in love with it immediately. The songs flow into each other so well that I can have the album on repeat for hours.

Careless People tells the story of Sarah Wynn-Williams's years working for Facebook, from the time she first pitched the idea of a Global Policy department to the fledgling company through her unceremonious departure.

Upon the first listen, I liked 5 songs immediately. After 2-3 listens, I really like 11 out of the 14 tracks on this album. The album flows well from song to song. The music takes up space; it feels purposeful and complete.

Stephanie Burgis writes beautiful characters with clear motives and gives the importance of friendships and community their due. This book is no exception.

The Chameleons are one of my favorite bands! This group has been making music since the ‘80s, and I love every minute of it. If you enjoy rock music of any kind, give them a listen!
