Upon the first listen, I liked 5 songs immediately. After 2-3 listens, I really like 11 out of the 14 tracks on this album. The album flows well from song to song. The music takes up space; it feels purposeful and complete. I just kept thinking about how the (((vibes))) of the music were spot-on for every song. I love the soft pop sound of the album as a whole. The disco elements of Don’t Wanna Cry are super groovy. Selena’s soft, echoey vocals are haunting throughout the album. It feels personal, mature, introspective, and emotional. I would consider this a short album, but it does everything it set out to do. This album is satisfying, so definitely give it a listen!
