Meet local author, Angela Cervantes! Angela is the award-winning author of popular children’s novels like Lety Out Loud, The Cursed Moon and the upcoming The Mystery of the Stolen World Cup Trophy. Angela has also collaborated with American Girls Dolls twice, most recently writing The Diary of Raquel Reyes  for the 2026 Girl of the Year: Raquel Reyes! 
 

Join us to learn more about Angela's inspirations and writing process. We'll also have free paletas for everyone in attendance and books available for purchase from local bookstore, Flagship Books. Attendees will also be entered in a prize drawing for a Girl of the Year™, Raquel Reyes™ doll!
