West Wyandotte Library has been nominated as one of the Best of KC 2026 by the Pitch KC for 2026!
We definitely think they are "cup worthy!" This location offers several unique services in KCKPL, including Book Match, an individualized book recommendation program for patrons, in which staff curate reading lists based on patrons' favorite genres and authors. Patrons who need extra assistance can even schedule one-on-one help sessions with a librarian. Their youth services department offers STEAM kits for checkout that include books, activities, and learning toys for caregivers to use with children or teens to develop skills related to the theme. They also serve a diverse community with a wide range of needs. We are so excited to help celebrate the work the staff at West Wyandotte is doing to serve their community!
