Children will use the pinch pot method to sculpt and decorate a sculptural tulip with air dry clay and acrylic paint! You will be able to take your created piece home the day of the program.

Discover, play, and connect at Baby & Me Discovery Time! 

Join us outdoors at KC Farm School at Gibbs Road for some fun and educational storytimes! Each week we will focus on a different nature theme and pair stories and songs with an earth-friendly educational activity.

Families are invited to join us for fun, interactive storytimes every Saturday morning. This special storytime will include singing, dancing, and some great books! This storytime is geared towards guests over the age of 2 and their families.

Children ages 18 and under are invited to escort their moms to the Main Library for a special Mother's Day event. We will have muffins, juice, and water as refreshments. Materials will be provided for children to create a Mother's Day card.

Process Art is a form of artistic expression that focuses more on the journey than the end result. This program is geared toward children 18 and under to "Enjoy the Process" of creating.

Sensory-friendly storytime is open to everyone!

Dance the night away at this unique prom designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers! Wear your fanciest outfit and take a photo in front of the photo backdrop. Enjoy the music and bubbles on the dance floor! 

Learn about Hawaiian Culture and Dance with Hula Hale Dancers. This engaging program not only shares traditional Hawaiian dances, but also teaches the audience dances, the language, and the meanings behind both.

All ages welcome.

Preschool Playtime is for children between the ages of 2 and 5 and their guardians. A variety of age-appropriate games and activities will be provided each week to entertain your little ones.

Baby Storytime serves as your child’s first introduction to a storytime setting. We focus on interaction between baby and their caregiver with songs, books, bonding activities and finger plays. For children ages 0 to 2 with a caregiver.

Little ones enjoy three enchanting stories while grown-ups sip on something warm and wonderful! It’s the perfect blend of joy and java, because storytime isn’t just for kids! Only one small drink will be given to one kid & adult per family.

Join us for stories, songs and playtime featuring active play and sensory activities. Perfect for preschoolers, but babies and toddlers are welcome, too!

Join EPIC Arts Clay Studio at the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library for a hands-on clay mosaic project using objects from nature! We'll collect leaves, sticks, and other natural materials and press them into air-dry clay.

Baby & Me: Storytime is designed to support early literacy and bonding. Introduce your little one to the joy of books while building language and listening skills in a warm, welcoming environment.
