Preschool Playtime is for children between the ages of 2 and 5 and their guardians. A variety of age-appropriate games and activities will be provided each week to entertain your little ones.

Nature Storytime at the Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library for Earth Day!

Baby Storytime serves as your child’s first introduction to a storytime setting. We focus on interaction between baby and their caregiver with songs, books, bonding activities and finger plays. For children ages 0 to 2 with a caregiver.

Little ones enjoy three enchanting stories while grown-ups sip on something warm and wonderful! It’s the perfect blend of joy and java, because storytime isn’t just for kids! Only one small drink will be given to one kid & adult per family.

Join us for stories, songs and playtime featuring active play and sensory activities. Perfect for preschoolers, but babies and toddlers are welcome, too!

Celebrate Earth Day at West Wyandotte library with some fun earth friendly experiments and activities! Geared towards ages 2-5 years.

Have a question? Need assistance? Our Community Support Librarian, Katy, will be offering open office hours every Wednesday from 1-3 PM at the West Wyandotte Library! 

You can’t spell EARTH without ART! This Earth Day use natural resources like leaves, twigs, and grass, along with recycled materials like cardboard and plastic, to create unique art pieces. All materials supplied. 

Do you LOVE to build with Legos and blocks? Get creative and build anything you choose. Work on your own creations, or build as a team. We provide the materials – You bring your imagination. Ages 5-12. 

Kids - join West Staff in the auditorium for games, giant Legos, marble runs and more!

Along with yoga's many benefits, it is a great way to strengthen children's gross motor skills. During this time, led by Miss Elizabeth, children will be guided through age appropriate yoga poses that tell a story!

Families are invited to join us for fun, interactive storytimes every Saturday morning. This special storytime will include singing, dancing, and some great books! This storytime is geared towards guests over the age of 2 and their families.
