Come out for a high-flying, tail-wagging good time as the famous KC Disc Dogs take over Mr. & Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library!

Families are invited to join us for fun, interactive storytimes every Saturday morning. This special storytime will include singing, dancing, and some great books! This storytime is geared towards guests over the age of 2 and their families.

This fun yoga class is explicitly designed for families with little yogis, focusing on fostering mindfulness, movement and fun through yoga!

Want to try out some new board games? Have a game and want to teach it to others? Have a game and a group but nowhere to host your game day? West Wyandotte is the place to be for board games on Sunday! 

Happy Summer Solstice! Join us as we celebrate the longest day of the year—and the first day of summer—by making a flower crown!

Splash Bash is a fun interactive water play program designed for kids to explore water in a safe, exciting, and playful environment. 

Children under the age of 18 are invited to visit the South Branch Library over the summer on Mondays and Fridays for a free lunch provided by Catholic Charities.  

Do you LOVE to build with Legos and blocks? Get creative and build anything you choose. Work on your own creations, or build as a team. We provide the materials – You bring your imagination. Ages 5-12. 

Teens and tweens, ages 9 and up, are invited to join us to learn more about science, technology, engineering, math and art every Wednesday this summer.

Little ones enjoy three enchanting stories while grown-ups sip on something warm and wonderful! It’s the perfect blend of joy and java, because storytime isn’t just for kids! Only one small drink will be given to one kid & adult per family.

Join us for board game fun at the Main Library every Wednesday evening in June and July!

Davidious the Dinosaur - Unearth Your Story: Learn all about how volunteers from the audience go on a treasure hunt and find bones that belong to Davidious the Dinosaur T-Rex.  Davidious comes to life and tells us all sort of stories . 

Along with yoga's many benefits, it is a great way to strengthen children's gross motor skills. During this time, led by Miss Elizabeth, children will be guided through age appropriate yoga poses that tell a story!

Pop by the library to enjoy some outdoor fun with bubbles! We'll have teeny-tiny bubbles and bubbles so big you can stand inside of them!

Enjoy our community garden and make a nature-themed craft! Each Friday in June and July, families can join us to help water and maintain the garden, followed by a craft activity.
