Winter Holiday Schedule

All Library locations will be closed on the following days for the Winter Holiday:
Wednesday, December 24
Thursday, December 25
Friday, December 26
Wednesday, December 31
Thursday, January 1

Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle, Turner and Mobile Libraries will be closed on:
Wednesday December 24, 2025 through Wednesday January 1, 2026. 

Main, West & South library locations will be open on December 29 and 30 but will close early at 5:00 pm.

All library locations will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Program Description

Event Details

We've got some stuffed animals looking for a new home! Children and teens, come down to the Main Library to find your next fluffy friend. Enjoy refreshments, create a "Gotcha!" day certificate, and grab a photo of you and your stuffed animal to commemorate the occasion!

New and gently used stuffed animals have been generously donated by our KCKPL staff. Come before they're all gone!
