For the month of September, we will be showing movies about lovers on the run from the law. Usually based on real life events, these toxic duos have done something terrible and yet we sometimes find ourselves rooting for them to get away with it.
On this night, we are watching Terrence Malick's 1973 film "Badlands" starring Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek. It is rated PG.
An impressionable teenage girl from a dead-end town, and her older greaser boyfriend, embark on a killing spree in the South Dakota Badlands.
