Come celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, with an emphasis on the T, this International Transgender Day of Visibility! Local LGBTQ+ leaders, educators, activists, and performers will be present to share their experiences and answer questions in a safe and inclusive setting at the Main Library. We’ll be discussing self-expression, growing up in the community, and sharing youth-focused resources. We'll also have our button maker running with a variety of templates to choose from (or make your own!) to show your support. Themed cupcakes, snacks, and pizza will be provided.
This is for teens 12-18 and adults are only allowed if accompanied by a teen. This is a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ members and allies to make new friends, embrace community, and show off their pride. Register online, in-person, or over the phone.
