Do you like space and looking up at the stars? Come and take a look at the night sky with the Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library! Learn about the sun, moon, stars, and planets inside our inflatable "StarLab" planetarium.
Advanced registration is required. Disclaimer: Some people may experience motion sickness during this program. Shoes will need to be taken off to enter the planetarium. Ages 6 years old and up.
Participants may only sign up for one Nature Quest StarLab program. The programs will be the same on the same day; this is to provide multiple opportunities for as many people as possible to participate.

West Drive from Shelter 4 to the Mr. & Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library will be closed beginning Monday, January 26, 2026 to repair a retaining wall along the road. To access the library, please use the northern entrance off I-435 and Wolcott Drive to enter the park on 93rd Street. Details regarding the project can be found in this news article from FOX4KC.
