Event Details
Join Dylan Parsley from K-State Wyandotte County Extension to learn about the fundamentals of soil composition: soil texture evaluation, drainage, nutrients, and pH to create effective custom soil mixes for various plant needs. Participants will also learn how to select and use amendments, troubleshoot soil problems, and confidently start seeds through step‑by‑step guidance on germination, lighting, watering, temperature, sanitation, and seedling care, ultimately gaining the skills to build healthy soil and grow strong, thriving plants from seed.
