Program Description
Event Details
The Main Library is having a pumpkin painting contest! We’ll supply the pumpkins and painting materials and you bring the creativity. At 12:30pm we’ll start the movie Halloweentown to watch while we paint. All pumpkins will need to be done by 3:00pm so the Youth Services staff can pick the winners.
Prizes will be awarded for the categories Most Creative, Scariest Squash, and the Pick of the Patch. Categories will be divided in two groups with ages 5-9 in one and 10-18 in the second. The Pick of the Patch prize of free passes with food and drink for 4 to Kerby Farms Pumpkin Patch will be given to the best pumpkin regardless of age. Everyone will get a goodie bag to go home with!
Kids and teens ages 5 to 18 are welcome to participate. Categories will be divided in two groups by age with ages 5-10 in one and 6-18 in the second. Children under 9 must have an adult present. Registration required either online, in-person, or over the phone.
