Main Library will host author Vivian Crosby for the presentation and discussion of her book Peace Sign, which is set in Kansas City, KS. The author is from KCK as well. Currently, she is working on a sequel titled Heart Hands.
The book is targeted toward Baby Boomers and features chapter titles named after 1960s songs. Peace Sign is the story of Susan, an active and lively member of the boomer generation who wants to stay young forever. She attends her 50th high school reunion, looking for romance, and when she sees the changes in her classmates, she realizes there is no fountain of youth.
