This led to a streak of paranoid or conspiracy thrillers being made throughout the 1970s in America. Main characters in these movies are typically being surveilled through cameras, wiretaps, and recorders while attempting to expose a massive cover-up. If you love conspiracy theories and rooting for the underdog, then these movies are for you.
On this night, we will be watching Alan J. Pakula's 1974 film "The Parallax View" starring Warren Beatty, Paula Prentiss, and Hume Cronyn. It is rated R.
