Join us on Thursday, May 14th at 5:30pm as we discuss local author, Stephanie Michelle’s novel, “The Secrets She’s Forgetting.”

“Masha Becker is a young woman who grievously witnesses her family perish in France throughout the duration of the Second World War and finds refuge when she escapes to America...”
“Sixty years later, when Masha is diagnosed with dementia, her neurologist recommends reminiscence therapy as a tool to improve her quality of life. The doctor hopes it will lessen the depression and anxiety he believes are contributing to her increased confusion; the majority of which likely stems from her adamancy to maintain the mystery of the war.”
