Event Details

Turning Red (2022) (PG) 1h 40m. (Swank).

“Disney and Pixar's Turning Red introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother's dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she “poofs” into a giant red panda!”

We’re honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month by watching Turning Red! We will be making a perler bead craft of a red panda before the movie at 5:15 pm and the movie will start at 6:00 pm. Children under 10 will need assistance with the craft since an iron is involved. Popcorn provided! Registration needed for the craft but not if only watching the movie. Adults allowed only if a child is present.
