DESCRIPTION:Every Wednesday night at 6 pm, we invite you to join us at Mad
  for the Movies for free screenings of classic films with the intent of ex
 ploring and enjoying cinema from every era.  Movies are chosen to fit a f
 resh theme each month which will typically highlight an actor or director,
  a genre, a time period, or a common plot element.  You are welcome to st
 ay after the film for a casual chat or treat it like a theater visit and l
 eave as soon as the end credits roll.For the month of August, we will be w
 atching movies picked by a long-time program regular.  As a theme, they h
 ave chosen films that fit the "One Crazy Night" trope.  These m
 ovies follow the misadventures of their characters, often in urban setting
 s, over the course of a single night. On this night, we will be watching 
 Walter Hill's 1979 film "The Warriors" starring Michael Bec
 k, James Remar, and Dorsey Wright. It is rated R.Members of a street gang 
 known as the Warriors must fight their way from the Bronx to their home tu
 rf on Coney Island when they are falsely accused of assassinating a respec
 ted gang leader.
