Welcome to the West Wyandotte Youth Services Department, where we offer a variety of services and programs to patrons age 11 and under. Our collection includes fiction and nonfiction books, magazines and books and music on cd and cassette. We also have special collections that include Spanish, holiday, popular, series and award books. (Top)
Storytime sessions are offered in the spring and fall as well as during Summer Reading. Storytime is an important literacy building event that introduces our youngest patrons to the world of books. Sessions are available for all ages.
Craft sessions and other special programs are offered every month.

Youth Services offers a Summer Reading program every year to keep kids connected to reading during the long summer months. Recent Summer Readings were a huge success with over 1,000 participants and 25 awesome programs. Summer Reading is free and open to all ages. Beat the heat and get inside to "Just Read" all summer! Youth Services offers public access computers for children age 11 and under who want to use the Internet or play educational games. (Top)
