The only thing R.U. Reading loves  as much as reading is making new friends.  He likes to get out and meet new people as often as he can. 

R. U. loves to make public appearances. He will come to book fairs, block parties, parades, school events and more. R.U. gives lots of hugs and handshakes, and always reminds students to get one of his new library cards!

R.U. also loves to pose for pictures with his friends.
