Everythyng is Nothyng Without Art by Christina Zeljeznjak "Hey, I am Christina M. Zeljeznjak, a 17 year old junior at Bonner Springs High School, who is going to graduate in the year 2001. I will undoubtedly pursue a career in art; Art in general is who I am, and all I've ever wanted to be. The title, "Artist," has new depth and meaning every day of my life...probably due to the fact that I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.
I currently have several of my prints for sale at "Egg-Cetera," a specialty store at the Great Mall of the Great Plains. I have painted numerous large-scale murals and have designed a CD cover for the local Christian band F.A.S.T. (it was used on their first album). I have also designed a T-shirt for the Woodlands that is for sale in the gift shop, and I am also being considered to design the 2000 Wiener Dog Nationals T-shirt, which is one of the largest promotions at the Woodlands each year. In addition to this, I have also created key-chains of my artwork, and I am working on ways to design a day-planner/calendar.
This is my first exhibition, although I have had my artwork on display at the Bonner Springs City Library and at the Bonner Springs City Hall. I was also involved in the first Festival of Creativity that was held at Crown Center on May 6th and 7th of this year.
As for future plans, I am unsure as to where I will attend college, though I am positive that I will go to an Art school. My website, which I will completely rebuild soon is: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Palette/5094/Main.html. It will soon contain my portfolio. Please visit and sign my message board--I'd appreciate any comments you may have!" --Christina Zeljeznjak
