My Heart's Desire Watercolors by Grace Stephenson Grace Stephenson started painting after she became a grandmother. She originally began painting for her own enjoyment, but soon realized she was "hooked" when she made her first sale!
Grace has studied with instructors in the Kansas City area and has attended workshops on watercolor and colored pencil. She is accomplished in oil, watercolor, colored pencil and acrylics, with watercolor being her favorite medium.
Grace exhibits her work in local art shows, has her paintings placed on consignment and accepts commissioned work. She has experience in a variety of subject matter including: landscapes, portraits, still life, florals and historic buildings. Portraits in oil are her favorite.
Grace is a member of the Wyandotte Art Association and has received several awards for her paintings. She is also a member of the Greater Kansas City Art Association and the Senior Arts Council. She teaches art classes twice a week.
