Anita's Art
by Anita Shikles

Anita Shikles was born in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and spent time in the Kansas City area, as well as in the Ozarks. She co-owned an art gallery in Branson, Missouri for a number of years, and is currently working 2 days per week as the art teacher for Maranatha Academy Central, and freelances from her home in Kansas City, Kansas.

Past work has included card design, photography, fine art painting and wall murals. More current work includes clay sculpture and diamond granite and marble etching.

Many of Anita’s etchings are done on grave headstones and monuments. On black granite, she can etch a special memory, portrait, or a special place. Anita has also done work on granite and marble tile that can be framed and hung.

For more information about the diamond etchings, you may write to Anita at P.O. Box 3795, Shawnee, KS 66203, or visit her website: http://www.galaxymall.com/art/anitasangels.
