Paintings by Richard ScherubelOriginally from Chicago, Illinois, Richar Scherubel studied art at The Art Institute of Chicago, Luther College in Decorah, IA, and at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. He earned his M.A.+ from U. of Iowa. He taught art at Eastern Kentucy University, Richmond, KY; Coe College, Cedar Rapids, IA; Missouri Western University, St. Joseph, MO and The School District of St. Joseph, MO.
His works are regularly exhibited in local and regional shows, and in numerous private collections. Mr. Scherubel is currently retired and working part time as a volunteer in the slide library at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
