Jerri Ogden was born in Memphis, Tennessee and is currently a resident of Kansas City, Kansas. During high school she received a Scholastic Art Award. Twenty years later she joined the Wyandotte Art Association and began to paint again.

Jerri has exhibited her work in various shows throughout the area, has been commissioned to paint for friends and family, juried the children's art exhibition at the Wyandotte County Fair and organized exhibitions for the WAA membership including a Second Anniversary Show with special guest Stan Herd. She studied painting with Bertha Powers, Harry Fredman, Mort Driscole and Cindy Aikire. Her works have been shown at the Agricultural Hall of Fame, Wyandotte County Museum, Presbyterian Manor, Arrowhead Bank, Memories Antique Shop, Prairie Village City Hall, Roeland Park City Hall and the University of Kansas Library. Jerri has taught painting at Memories Antique Shop and in her home studio. She is Past President of the Wyandotte Art Association.
