JoeRay Kelley is a fine arts painter using acrylic and water soluble oil on canvas; creating a large diversity of subject matter. His paintings exude a profound understanding of the interplay of light and subject. His commanding use of color focuses and enhances the viewers' experience of mood and intimacy.

JoeRay, a native of Missouri; has been well represented throughout the mid-west US and his work had been accepted and rewarded in many regional, national and international juried art shows and exhibitions. He is one of the over 600 artists from around the world to exhibit his work at the 2003 Biennale Internazionalle Dell'Arte Contemporanea, Florence, Italy December 6-15, 2003. He has been invited to exhibit in the 2007 Biennale Internazionalle Dell'Arte Contemporanea, in Florence.

National and international artist’s societies have recognized and rewarded his talent with Signature Artist induction. These honors bestowed include; the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS), International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP) and the National Society of Artists (NSA). He is a member of the Kansas City Artist Coalition.  His work can be seen at the Northland Exposure Gallery in Parkville, MO and the Images Gallery in Kansas City and on his website at www.artbyjoekelley.com.
