Cheryl Graham attended St. Mary College, Leavenworth, Kansas, receiving a B.A. in Art. She has been employed at Hallmark Cards, Inc., Kansas City since 1978.

As a child, she always loved to draw. "Give me a pencil and a stack of paper and I was happy. My favorite subject matter was, and continues to be, people."

In mid-1995 she took her first watercolor class. Fear has changed to respect, excitement and a sense of adventure. Each painting brings new discoveries of the medium and myself and an awareness that ‘the road is as important as the destination’.
