Doug Nelson
Doug is originally from Wichita, Kansas. He has been in the Kansas City area for the past twenty years and currently resides in Gladstone, Missouri. Doug has painted, designed, built and created in one form or another, all his life. Having a strong background in technical theater and scenic design, the majority of his work has been creating illusion on a larger scale. A decision was made in late spring of 2002 to tighten his creative vision and dedicate his attention to painting.

Doug has studied watercolor with Karen Golmer and life drawing with Dell Godbold and has been juried into the Missouri Watercolor Society's National Exhibition and the Kansas Watercolor Society's Great 8 Exhibition. He is currently a member of the Greater Kansas City Artist's Association and the Missouri Watercolor Society. Visit Doug's website for more information.
