In Fiore (In Bloom)

Shana Gammon is a photographer specializing in floral images. Since she began her interest in photography, Shana has exhibited her images nationally in a variety of venues.
Shana began exhibiting locally in her home city of Lynchburg, Viriginia in 2005. Then in the fall of 2007 Shana began exhibiting her work nationally with a tour entitled "In Fiore" (Italian for In Bloom). At present the tour encompasses 22 cities and 10 states.
In 2007 Shana's work also became part of three permanent collections loacted at the University of New Mexico Hosptial, Albuquerque; the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno (Family Clinic) and the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
Shana was born in Kansas City, MO and lived in Missouri until her graducation from high school. She then attended college in Virginia where she received her Bachelor degree in Journalism/Communications from Liberty University. In 2005 Shana attended Hollins University, taking additional Master level courses in visual and performing arts.
At present Shana resides in Virginia with her husband, three daughters and one son.
