The library is proud to feature the works of local and regional artists at each location. Exhibits change monthly and may include artists' receptions, gallery talks, lectures, demonstrations of technique, and book talks promoting areas of the fine arts collection. All exhibits are free and open to the public during regular library hours. At Main...	March 8 through 30, 2010 "Beyond the Classroom," an exhibit of Kansas City, Kansas Public School student artwork The library will be a stop on the KCK Arts Network Downtown KCK Art Walk on Friday, March 12. The art walk is free and open to the public.
At West Wyandotte...	March 2 through 30, 2010 Inspired by Dore, drawings and watercolors by Barbara Burton and Photographs by Phil Noah
At the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library Environmental Learning Center...	February 16 through April 16, 2010 "Acrylic in Nature," paintings by Heather Reynolds
At the Turner Community Library...	March 15 through May 12, 2010 Artwork, by the students of local artist Anita Shikles
