Paintings by Cheri
Artwork by Cheri AlfreyCheri creates a loose realism with a diversity of subject matter and style. She uses various mediums, but watercolor has become her main focus. Cheri says, "Watercolor can be unpredictable, sometimes you have to just let things happen and go with the flow...I just love it!" Her goal in painting is to draw the viewer into the scene, to have them become engrossed in it, it only for a brief time.
Cheri graduated from Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Art. She has worked in the commercial field and taught art in the public schools. She is a member of the Greater Kansas City Art Association and the Missouri Watercolor Society. Cheri's work has been seen in numerous juried, one-woman and area art shows. Visit Cheri's web site.
