Blanche Carstensen studied at the University of Omaha, the University of Missouri, and the Kansas City Art Institute. She exhibited throughout the region at various museums and galleries including the Joselyn Museum in Omaha, Nebraska; Contemporary Graphic Arts, Wichita, Kansas; Baker University, Baldwin, Kansas; and the Jewish Community Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Carstensen was the artistic consultant and designer for the resident hall at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Mrs. Carstensen was the wife of artist Cecil Carstensen. | |
